CEO / President, Ames Design International

Ames Design International, founded in 1985 by President and CEO, Shane Ames, specializes in luxury custom residences, as well as developing corporate identities and other commercial projects. Ames Design International has a staff of approximately 18 and projects from as far south as Queenstown, New Zealand, as far north as Toronto, Canada, and throughout the United States. Although his work is primarily in South Florida, these interesting projects often come by way of his existing clients, many of them Fortune 500 Listers interested in doing design projects other than homes.

Shane Ames has provided design and construction drawings for 1000's of custom homes worldwide.
click to enlarge He specializes in all areas of design and construction including Land Planning, Multi-Family Residential Dwelling, Apartment Buildings, Townhouses and Towers. His commercial work includes Community Planning, Country Clubs, Recreation Buildings, Guard Homes, Shopping Centers, Office Buildings and much more.

Growing up in South Florida, Shane knew his calling from an early age, and after studying at the University of Cincinnati, he worked in California and Florida, participating in a six year baccalaureate work/study program that allowed him to experience his profession by taking jobs around the country. After eight years of working for other firms, he opened Ames Design International.
